Recycle ocean plastic with Earth Wake<\/strong><\/h2>\n

1\u00a0 CONTEXT :<\/strong><\/p>\n

The association was created in 2014 by Samuel Le Bihan, a committed actor, with the aim of eliminating the presence of plastic in nature, all over the world. The first model introduced in 2018, to meet this objective is the creation of Christofer Costes: Chrysalis.<\/p>\n

2\u00a0 MEANS :<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is with Chrysalis 40, a “low cost” and “low tech” machine, that the Earth Wake association envisages the future of plastic recycling. This machine can process 200 kg of plastics per day, and produce 200 L of fuel per day (150 litres of diesel per day).<\/p>\n

The fuels (petrol and diesel) generated by Chrysalis are not suitable for vehicles, but will be used to power electricity generators in emerging countries and isolated regions. These same regions where plastic is released in very large quantities into the environment.<\/p>\n

By giving value to plastics, Earth Wake aims to enable those regions that do not yet recycle them to regain a healthier environment and allow their population to be more self-sufficient, particularly in terms of access to electricity.<\/p>\n

International Impact has provided 2 civic services<\/strong><\/span> to the Earth Wake team in Paris since 2019.<\/p>\n
