Fight malnutrition with Super Chicken<\/a><\/p>\n

Created in 2017 by International Impact, Super Poulet is a project that raises awareness of malnutrition among young people in primary and secondary schools in France and supports underprivileged families in several regions of the world.<\/p>\n

Sales of “fake” eggs (including bouncing balls) are made in schools and by students. For each egg sold, a chicken is bought and given to a family in a developing country, notably in Ecuador, Togo, Paraguay and India.<\/p>\n

Approximately 795 million people in the world suffer from hunger, i.e. 1 in 9 people, mostly children.<\/p>\n

Chickens provide animal protein, and eggs are one of the few highly nutritious foods.**<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chicken is the least water-consuming animal meat compared to beef or pork. It has the lowest environmental impact.<\/p>\n

The hens purchased in the countries in question are redistributed and installed in small groups (3 to 4 individuals), in families and henhouses, with the help of students from the Purpan engineering school in Toulouse. The laying hens will be able to produce eggs as adults and provide a better diet for undernourished populations.
