Train to agriculture with Ka\u00efgama<\/strong><\/h2>\n

1.\u00a0 CONTEXT:<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASSAJOK (Association of the Friends of Saint Joseph of Kaigama) was created by Sister Th\u00e9r\u00e8se, an association attached to the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Cluny, a French religious congregation of 2600 sisters in 57 countries.
\nSister Th\u00e9r\u00e8se arrived in 1959 in Congo where she took charge of opening a dispensary and was then called to Cameroon where she opened this model school.<\/p>\n

The aim of the association is to fight against the rural exodus of young people through professional and agricultural training.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 RESOURCES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Setting up a model farm and a vocational training centre to enable underprivileged young people to set up on their own as farmers and enable them to live a decent life after 2 years of studies.
\nThe studies consist of theoretical and technical training in the profession of farmer, alternating on the one hand within the farm-school and on the other hand with reference professionals.
\nThe farm-school comprises 32 hectares of cultivated land, with breeding and fish farming activities. Part of the produce is processed on site and contributes to the running of the school.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 PROJETS TO SUPPORT:<\/strong><\/p>\n

International Impact supports<\/span> <\/strong>the Farm-School in sending volunteers<\/strong><\/span>, but also to continue to :<\/p>\n
