The Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais International de Gran Canaria caters for pupils from nursery school to the final year of secondary school. It belongs to the Mission La\u00efque Fran\u00e7aise network of French schools abroad.<\/p>\n

It is located in Telde, on the island of Gran Canaria.<\/p>\n

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SCHOOL

The LFI de Gran Canaria aims to make its students enlightened, responsible and multilingual citizens.<\/p>\n

Therefore, throughout their schooling, pupils, from nursery school to the end of secondary school, follow four educational pathways:<\/p>\n

\u2665 the Artistic and Cultural Education pathway, which encourages pupils’ creativity and promotes their general culture
\n\u2665\u00a0the Citizenship pathway, which aims to develop pupils’ critical thinking and sense of commitment
\n\u2665 the Health pathway, which helps prevent risky behaviour
\n\u2665 the Avenir (Future) pathway, which enables pupils to develop their career plans and discover the world of work.<\/p>\n

Extra-curricular activities are also very much present and encouraged within the school. Sports tournaments, themed and festive days, creative leisure activities and school outings punctuate the school calendar throughout the year.<\/p>\n

OUR IMPACT<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Since 2020, the Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais International de Gran Canaria has been a partner of International Impact in 2021. At the start of each school year, the school welcomes a new generation of volunteers who come to support the students and teaching staff in the various activities of the school, both in class and during the extra-curricular activities that take place inside and outside the school grounds.<\/p>\n
