On 1 December, we’re sharing with you a figure that’s particularly close to our hearts: 292 volunteers trained to go on a Civic Service mission with International Impact!<\/p>\n

The same number of volunteers have been trained in one of the following two workshops: the Climate Fresco and\/or the 2tonnes workshop. At International Impact, as well as solidarity, ecological concerns and the commitment that goes with them are at the heart of our training.<\/p>\n

Since 2023, International Impact<\/strong> has decided to take environmental issues a step further and become an aggregator and amplifier of environmental initiatives.<\/p>\n

On 29 April this year, the NGO launched its Climate Commission<\/strong> to discuss and take action on various environmental issues.<\/p>\n

In addition to developing more environmental civic service missions and supporting project leaders committed to the environment, International Impact is rolling out initiatives to raise awareness of environmental issues among its volunteers, partners and the general public.<\/p>\n

For the third day of December, we’re sharing a list of tools to support you in your commitments here.<\/p>\n

International Impact<\/strong> supports all solidarity initiatives, even travellers!<\/p>\n

For this Wednesday 4 December, we are highlighting the We Slow Tech<\/strong> project. Th\u00e9obald and Antoine,<\/strong> two students from Mines Paris,<\/strong> decided to cycle across Europe for 5 months to meet those involved in the slow-tech approach, share their experiences and discoveries and contribute to its development. Well done to them! In your opinion, how many kilometres did they cover?<\/p>\n

On this World Volunteer Day,<\/strong> we are proud of our first year of partnership with MyFarm<\/strong> in The Gambia.<\/p>\n

MyFarm<\/strong> is a farm whose mission is to improve livelihoods in Africa and around the world, through education, agricultural innovation, the environment and more.<\/p>\n

Our 1st volunteer was able to help develop methods that can be scaled up and replicated in other places. It’s fantastic! We have new Civic Service missions available<\/strong> here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

International Impact<\/strong>\u00a0wraps up the year with new partnerships that are meaningful both on a human level and in terms of their substance.<\/p>\n

Jean-Christophe CRESPEL, the Founder and Director of the NGO International Impact, had the honor of speaking to students at the ICD Business School in Toulouse last November as part of the Citizenship and International Solidarity Education program.<\/p>\n

Supporting all individuals who are concerned about international issues (solidarity, environment, etc.) is our duty and a core part of our mission.<\/p>\n

At International Impact, kindness has guided us throughout the year, accompanied by Civic Service volunteers who have not hesitated to show their appreciation!<\/p>\n

We were delighted to share numerous Civic and Citizenship Trainings with you.<\/p>\n

This day, created by several associations, is an opportunity to highlight the very real threat of climate change and the necessity to act to limit its harmful effects.<\/p>\n

Climate change is largely driven by CO2 emissions from human activities (industry, transport, agriculture, etc.) as well as other greenhouse gases like methane.<\/p>\n

We can and must all act, individually and collectively, to reduce these emissions.<\/p>\n

On December 3rd, we published a “toolbox” to help you understand, act, and raise awareness among those around you to encourage action. Click here<\/a> to access it.<\/p>\n

Oops… let\u2019s not forget some of our colleagues who are also working to preserve the planet (the worms)!<\/p>\n

On December 9th, we highlight Appoline, our first Civic Service volunteer at the Lyc\u00e9e Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry in Chile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her missions?<\/strong>
\nShe supports local teachers, assists students with oral work, organizes workshops, and develops a pedagogical program entirely on her own.<\/p>\n

A wonderful experience to build skills and make incredible connections!<\/p>\n

This year, International Impact welcomed Carla, our first Southeast Asia coordinator.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Carla is meeting with current and future partners, contributing to the NGO’s development. She\u2019s also visiting our volunteers in the field, ensuring they thrive in their missions. A big thank you to her for her dedication!<\/p>\n

In July 2024, International Impact won a project bid from the Civic Service Agency to make International Civic Service accessible to young people aged 18-25 with limited international opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are thrilled to partner with Apr\u00e8s l’\u00c9cole, Esp\u00e9rance Banlieues, the MFR network, Ecuasol, the French European School of Podgorica, and Permakabadio<\/strong> to bring this wonderful project to life.<\/p>\n

Thank you, Alice and Thomas, our two contributors, for your work and dedication to enabling young people to live this enriching experience.<\/p>\n

As every year for over 20 years, International Impact invites you to contribute to organizing the Christmas celebrations at Ecuasol and supporting the actions planned for the coming year.
\nWe are proud of the children, their progress, and the team on site who work tirelessly to support them.<\/p>\n

Ecuasol is a program of the NGO aimed at supporting underprivileged children in Ecuador by providing academic support, balanced meals, outings, psychological assistance, and family support. To date, Ecuasol welcomes 62 children aged 6 to 18.<\/p>\n

The fundraiser is open\u2014feel free to participate.<\/p>\n
